Sugar Glider Adoption Policies

We do not adopt gliders to impulse buyers who have not done the proper research.  Please research glider care before contacting us!  Our care sheet is a good place to start.

All joeys must be a minimum of 8 weeks OOP (out of pouch) to leave my home.  Some may need to stay longer.



We offer both pet only and breeding prices.  

If you are absolutely sure you will NOT breed your glider, you qualify for pet only pricing, which is cheaper.  You must sign a strict non-breeding contract stating that your glider will never be allowed to be bred.  If you are buying a pet only female, you must never house her with an intact male.  If you are buying a pet only male he must be neutered by 4 months of age.  We can do this for you before you get the glider (for an additional cost), or you can get it done at your own vet as long as you mail us proof of the neuter within one week of getting it done.  

If you want to breed your glider you must pay breeding price, which is higher than pet only price.  This gives you breeding rights and you do not have to sign a contract.



Every joey sold has a 72 hour (3 day) health guarantee.  For this to be valid you must take your glider to the vet within those 3 days for a wellness check and fecal float/smear.  If any problems are shown at that time, contact me and I will refund your money, replace your glider, or pay for the medication to treat the glider.  (my choice).  

If you do not take your glider to the vet within those 3 days this guarantee is not valid and it will be up to you to treat the glider or glve it back to us at no cost.  This is because we have no way to prove the glider's problem was caused by us, and not the new owner.



Refunds may be given if you no longer want your glider.  If you have owned your glider less than 7 days, we will refund 75% of the purchase price (minus deposit).  If it has been 8-14 days we will refund 50% of the purchase price.  If it has been 15-30 days we will refund 25% of the purchase price. After 30 days we will not refund your money, but will gladly take the glider back at no cost.
